Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and 15 years of martial arts experience.

I've been training for 15 years. I first walked into Jeff's academy and was met with a warm welcome.

​

I started with my brother and cousin and was instantly hooked after getting caught in an effortless chokehold just 10 seconds into my first sparring session. I was active in competition from the beginning, competing in tournaments in Ontario, Michigan, Illinois, and Indianapolis.

 

I've had the opportunity to train at many gyms across Ontario and in Michigan, always amazed at how welcoming the community is.

I shifted my focus from competing to teaching. I have been teaching for over 8 years, working with both kids and adult jiu-jitsu programs.
